The High Park Zoo in Toronto is looking to build a new observatory for the Yaks. Because of the steep slopes in the area, a permanent structure that has to battle gravity and extreem weather prove expensive. Instead, working with the restraints on site as assets of the design, the proposed pavilion structure would be a flexible, tensile, and ephemeral suspension built form. The pavilion will include a viewing area, washroom, and animal caring facilities.
