Interlude Crossing, 2007

The wood structure interlude at a water crossing intends to escort and encourage. The primary purpose is to enable a route between the divided landscapes. The schematics of the boardwalk takes on an organic form inspired by the local topography, sun, and wind. Various elevation of this build structure accommodates a diversity of social activities such as sitting, eating, sightseeing, and trekking. The interlude encourages unrestricted explorations. Visitors are encouraged to venture into the geology of the area with pathways that suggests rather than guide .
