Canvas Condominium, 2009
Barcelona, Spain; Residential
Queen Street West is the Gallery District of Toronto. Fittingly, the rise of a new condominium should enhance its locale. What better asset to provide a neighbourhood of arts and design with than a white canvas. The white mesh façade encourages digital arts at night. Its street front canvas platform also becomes a stage for street level performances. Extending into the interior, its finishes remain minimal but customizable. Complete with a Zen garden on ground level and a lane pool with glass bottom on the second floor, this is the embodiment of Queen Street in one unit. Canvas Condo is Toronto's newest urban curator.
